This classic Himalayan trek, is with all that trekking in Nepal has to offer – a high mountain pass, the world’s deepest valleys, the high and wild desert plateau of western Tibet, monasteries, pristine forests and people as diverse as Tibetan Buddhist lamasand Hindu villages.
This three-week epic joins the Manang and Muktinath treks by crossing the 5,416 meter (17,765 feet) Thorong La pass. The Manang region is frequently ignored in the rush to the pass, but it is a worthy destination in itself.
